How Much Money do I Need to Start Building?
Unlike other builders that require several deposits during the construction process, TE Woods only requires a 3.5%-5% deposit, depending on community, at the time of contract. This deposit is in the form of an earnest deposit that is credited back to you at the time of closing. Many people use this money as a down payment. That is the only money you will need until the build job is complete and you close on your home. Not under any circumstances will we ever ask you for an additional deposit. If you don’t have the entire earnest deposit at the signing of the contract we can work out a payment plan.
