State-of-the-Art Technology. HomeCrest's innovative transport conveyor system eliminates damage from excessive handling of assembled cabinets. A computer-controlled machine drills for shelf-clips, cuts the toe kick notch and grooves the end panel. Hi-tech routing machines produce smooth cuts, and precision saws cut up to five laminated boards in one operation.
With HomeCrest's Padlock™ Finish System, computer-controlled sprayers apply uniform color and the automated Pro-Wood system applies a highly durable Ultra-Violet finish. Fluorescent lamps help the UV finish cure almost instantly.
Handcrafting. Because some things are still better done manually, HomeCrest continues to choose to hand sand every wood cabinet door, visually inspect them to make sure they meet our standards, and hand assemble to assure a proper fit and a strong bond.

When the job is done HomeCrest backs their workmanship with superior product warranties, responsive cutomer service, fast turnaround on orders and emergency delivery programs.
Wood Types.

When choosing a wood species from which to order a cabinet of, please keep the below information in mind in order to meet your desires and style.
Oak
Oak is known for its strength and distinct grain patterns ranging from strait grains to arcs. Natural oak colors range from light tans to deep reddish browns. When finished with a light colored stain, noticeable differences in color will be evident. A darker stain will provide a more uniform appearance. Overall, oak is durable and forgiving of nicks and bumps, making it an ideal cabinet wood.
Maple
The smooth, even grain of maple makes it a wonderful choice for any room. Maple’s natural colors range from creamy blonde tones to dark reddish-browns. As with other wood species, darker stains reduce the natural wood color variation. Maple displays some wavy, curly or bird’s eye characteristics as well as distinct mineral streaks. These markings are natural in the wood and are not consider defects.
Cherry
Cherry has been a hardwood choice for fine furniture for centuries. The natural color of cherry wood ranges from pale yellow to deep reddish brown. Staining reveals subtle variations and colors, and typically darkens over time.
Hickory
Hickory is a very tough, dense hardwood, making it an extremely durable cabinet material. It’s known for dramatic color variation, ranging from deep reddish-brown to pale-white. Darker stains control the color differences in hickory.
Thermo-Foil
Thermo-Foil finish allows white cabinet doors to exhibit the same fine styling and detail usually found in solid wood doors. Thermo Foil finishes are extremely durable and easy to clean. The finish found on the front of white cabinet doors is produced when a PBC molded plastic is bonded to a pre-machined material using heat and pressure. The core of a white Thermo Foil door is medium density fiberboard with a white melamine back.
